Apostolic Blessings to the vicars, priests, and the beloved faithful of our parishes in Bangalore, Our beloved in Christ,
We are delighted to hear that the Bangalore Orthodox Bible Convention named MELTHO is to be
held once again this year from 1-3 February, 2008 at the India Campus Crusade Auditorium. The
commitment required to conduct such a convention annually is great, but the blessings of God upon
those who organize and participate are no doubt bountiful.We commend the aims of this conference as
hearing theWord of God and glorifying Him is the path towards our spiritual ascent to perfection, which is
known as deification in our spiritual tradition. A strong foundation on the Holy Scripture and Worship must
translate into the social and charitable sphere of life. Your recognition of this fact brings us great
satisfaction. We are certain that H.G. Dr. Yakob Mar Irenaios Metropolitan and Rev. Fr. Varghese
Varghese will lead the convention discourses successfully and we appreciate their service and
dedication to the faithful of the Church. We value the efforts of all those involved and pray that God's
blessings are showered upon all those who participate that you may be transformed by God Almighty.
May the Grace and Blessings of God Almighty abide in you forever. And may the prayers of the
Mother of Our God, the Holy Virgin Mary, St. Thomas, Apostle of India, our Holy Father Mar Gregorios
and Mar Dionysius and all our Holy Saints be a stronghold for us. Amen.
